Mission

The CIO Symposium provides a communication and sharing platform in the form of roundtable discussions for Dallas area technology leaders. The Symposium was designed to foster the participants' effective use of technology solutions within their companies and for their professional growth.

Goals

The CIO Symposium goals will be set and reviewed annually.

  • Participation by Chamber member technology executives only
  • Provide leaders the opportunity to discuss/exchange technology ideas based on needs and desires
  • Include key DFW regional technology leaders (CIOs/CTOs/IT Directors/etc.) that provide the main technology leadership for their business
  • Encourage participation of all industry types in order to foster inclusion of more cross-discipline exchange
  • Encourage Dallas and Fort Worth businesses to share their CIO/CTO knowledge with each other and with businesses of different sizes or industries
  • Focus discussions on topics of interest and needs of forum members
  • Provide additional value to the members of the Greater Dallas Chamber
The mission of the Technology Business Council is to establish and sustain the position of the Dallas and Fort Worth region as the broadest and deepest technology center in the world.
