Description

The Greater Dallas Chamber's Technology Business Council strongly supports the growth of the Dallas/Fort Worth technology and life science sectors and the increased development of entrepreneurial technology and life science companies. Such companies are in need of a variety of support that can be found in a number of resources such as government grants, business development and other resources. The Technology Business Council supports the education and awareness of financial funding needed for these companies to develop and sustain.

The Capital Connections Committee assembles quarterly to provide a forum to discuss prospective financial resources available to emerging technology and life science companies. The committee serves as a medium for emerging companies and to support the overall growth of the technology and life sciences sector. Financial support to these start-up business ventures may include but are not limited to, SBIR (Small Business Innovation and Research) grants, Texas Emerging Technology Fund, Angel Investors, and venture capitalists.
