The Technology Business Council launched its communications campaign Tuesday, June 27, 2006. This campaign has the potential to increase economic development, investment, entrepreneurism and ultimately bring the visibility to the DFW region in the areas of technology and life science that it so richly deserves.

The campaign is currently in Phase III, and updated materials have been printed and are ready for distribution.

The TBC Regional Guide provides statistics, fast facts and information about DFW's technology and life sciences assets.	The Councils host active legislative task forces that identify and study issues of interest, and when appropriate, create and maintain position statements. Once developed, the Chamber’s Board of Directors vote to approve these position statements. After approval, the committee then determines an appropriate course of action for advocacy purposes.	The Greater Dallas Chamber established the Technology Business Council to promote the Dallas/Fort Worth region as a world-class technology center and to provide the region with a vehicle to effectively assemble all parties related to its technology resources and infrastructure.
