BioDFW
The Life Science Leadership Committee supports BioDFW and its regional efforts.
In December 2003, BioDFW was established as the DFW Life Sciences Partnership to foster the growth of the area's broad life sciences market and research activities. The organization changed its name to BioDFW in 2004.
The Founding Organizations are:

The Health Industry Council of the Dallas-Fort Worth Region
Mission:
To foster an environment of regional collaboration, innovation, excellence and inspiration for the Dallas/Fort Worth region’s life sciences community.
Goal:
BioDFW will be the primary vehicle that establishes the North Texas region as a global competitor in the life sciences industry and works to foster an ideal climate for entrepreneurs, researchers, industry management and staff, faculty, students and related business suppliers.
Objectives:
Foster an open, entrepreneurial environment that encourages growth and innovation; Develop an information clearinghouse of relevant regional resources in the life sciences; Be a catalyst for the development and exchange of ideas and provide forums to explore new business avenues and partnerships; and Support regional economic development endeavors in the life sciences arena.
BioDFW's membership is free and open to all organizations and individuals who are actively involved in the life sciences and committed to regional cooperation and collaboration to achieve the mission of BioDFW.
